Job Description

IntroductionAt IBM, our Project Managers excel by leading and coordinating a project team s overall performance, scope, cost, and deliverables. Our clients rely on timely and efficient status reports, and as Project Manager, you will drive the charge with project direction, metric definition, and performance management. If you are ready to help our clients and project teams succeed, we would love to meet you!Your Role and Responsibilities As Regulatory Project Manager, you are responsible to develop risk-based strategies and methods to ensure GTS compliance with HIPAA and/or Life Science regulations wherever personal health data is processed (HIPAA) or GxP (Life Science) regulations apply. Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and deploy policies, processes, tools and solutions that support GTS Business to demonstrate HIPAA and/or Life Science regulatory compliance
  • Monitor, report and improve the HIPAA and/or Life Science Program in line with GTS/IBM Legal and policy requirements
  • Interact/collaborate with other GTS and IBM functions and organizations including CHQ Chief Privacy Office and Enterprise & Technology Security, Business Controls, Internal Audit, Legal, and Procurement to ensure assessment and implementation of policies and methodologies
  • Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the various project teams and business units.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in IT Industry domain
  • Proven experience to act as a Strategic thinker and thought leader with ability to assess risks, complex problems and formulate resolution approaches and mitigation action plans;
  • Demonstrate knowledge of HIPAA and/or GxP regulations and their application to GTS business processes and technological infrastructures;
  • Prior experience as a Team leader/ Project/ Program Manager of strategic, transformational and complex projects and programs;
  • Proficiency to manage Cyber Security along with Team and matrix management leadership
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Working knowledge of Compliance Management Systems and Audit & Risk Management
  • Hands-on experience in Information Technology, data processing and data flows
  • Solid understanding of operational and organizational structures, and experience in global, matrix organizations
  • Working knowledge of internal IBM/GTSs general business lines, offerings, tools, organizational structure, framework, people and processes;
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management (ERM) or governance, risk and control (GRC) frameworks and systems
  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
