Job Description

Purpose of Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to move into the Sector Solutions Team, supporting the revenue generation and client due diligence activities within the group. Critical requirements are excellent written English, an understanding of investment servicing products, project management experience and strong MS Office skills. RFP experience is required

State Street s Request for Proposal (RFP) team is in search of a Senior RFP writer to play an integral role in business development and client service efforts through the completion of RFP, RFI, and due diligence requests. The Senior Writer will specialize in editing and writing compelling responses for RFPs and Due Diligence Questionnaires while also contributing to the completion of other projects and requests.

As a Senior RFP writer, the writer will be expected to deputies for the team manager, contribute to RFP reviews and to work directly and effectively with the firm s Deal Leads and content owners to write and maintain original and technical product - specific content.

Major Responsibilities:

(Identify 5 - 8 major responsibilities performed by the job. Include the approximate percentage of time.

RFP/DDQ Completion (50%)

Project management of detailed client proposals, due diligence questionnaires and consultant questionnaires covering a wide range of products including (but not limited to) global custody; accounting; fund administration; trustee & depositary services; and data & analytics

Sourcing accurate response content

Managing the response process from kick - off meeting to dispatch of final response documents, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met

Drafting, proof - reading, editing and reviewing content (25%)

Working in close cooperation with the Sector Solutions sales teams, client service teams, product managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure proposal input is well - written, accurate, balanced, persuasive and timely.

RFP Reviews

Reviewing team members draft RFPs to ensure quality standards and accuracy are maintained (20%)

RFP Database (5%)

Submission of new and updated material to the Qvidian database

Individual Contributor

Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role

Ensure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in your behaviour

Provide appropriate management information as required to support business unit decision making

Support the Risk Excellence culture within the business

Adhere to limits of delegation and escalation procedures required by your manager so that you comply with internal policies and external regulations

Level of Education/ Specific Qualifications:

Excellent written English and the ability to edit and tailor text to ensure accuracy, consistency and readability

Project management experience and the ability to operate in a deadline - driven environment

Advanced MS Word skills

Familiarity with investment servicing products (e.g. global custody and fund administration)

10+ years of Experience in a sales support and/or RFP role would be an advantage

A working knowledge of Qvidian would be an advantage

Skills and Experience - interpersonal, numerical, problem - solving, analytical, etc

Required Competencies - motivation, team skills, ability to work under pressure, etc.

Motivation to complete tasks in a timely manner
