Job Description : You will be a part of a dynamic team at Coviam. You will work closely with Program Managers, Product Managers, UX designers, Software developers and other quality engineers to deliver secure, high performance and high availability products that exceed users quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing the Test Team, Test Environments, Test Framework and the Testing Processes to meet company guidelines and standards.
  • Act as Senior PIC for providing end to end QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
  • Contribute to tools development and continuous improvement of the process.
  • Mentor team members with strong interpersonal skills and establish strong cross - team collaboration; should be proactive in providing suggestions and solutions for continuous team improvement.
  • Hands - on test engineer writing UI and API test cases.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and demonstrate excellent time management skills in a fast - paced environment.
  • Updated on latest technology and trend in software testing.
  • Provide input for gono - go decisions.
  • You will be a part of sprint planning and provide milestones for the release.
  • Evaluate and upgrade to the latest frameworks as required for faster application delivery.
  • Plan roadmap for continuous improvements.
  • Evolve strong QA Practices in the team.
  • Motivate the team and take informed decisions on people and planning.

    • QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

      • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Science from a reputable university (with min GPA 3.0).
      • 7+ years of QATesting experience in a quality assurance role with focus on automation QA.
      • Thorough knowledge of any programming language.
      • Should have experience in Web Based, Mobile App, API and Database Testing.
      • Experience in CI, Selenium or Appium, TestNG or BDD based frameworks like Cucumber, Jmeter or Rest Assured.
      • Experience in designing frameworks desired but not mandatory.
      • Good working knowledge of Windows, Linux, database technologies, and an object - oriented programming language.
      • Must have knowledge of Software Lifecycle tools.
      • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
      • Strong analytical and problem - solving skills.
      • Well versed with Agile and SCRUM methodology.
      • Strong oralwritten communication skills.
      • Knowledge of database & unix skills will be added advantage.
      • Bonus points for willing to take up ML learning to auto - generate test cases.
      • Quickly learn new technologies, products, and service offerings.
