Job Description

    Job Title: QA/QC Engineer Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)Experience: 10 to 20 YearsIndustry: Energy/Power ProjectsAbout the Role:Weseek a seasonedQuality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineerto ensure the highest quality standardsacross our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality management within energy or power infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on inspection, testing, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, plans, and checklists for BESS projects.
    • Conduct quality inspections of materials, components, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
    • Oversee and monitor testing activities during installation, commissioning, and integration of BESS systems.
    • Identify and address non-conformance issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
    • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to align quality objectives with project requirements.
    • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and certificates of compliance.
    • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide technical guidance and training to teams on quality-related processes and best practices.
    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • 10 years of QA/QC experience in large-scale energy projects, preferably with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or renewable energy solutions.
    • Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and industry-specific codes.
    • Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and non-conformance investigations.
    • Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques, including inspection and testing equipment.
    • Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance in energy projects.
    • Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with diverse project teams.
