Quality Analyst - MetricStream Location: Bengaluru (HSR Layout Area) About the job: This is a long term QA consulting assignment is with a tech giant in the governance , risk & compliance enterprise software.Requirements Mandatory Skills: 4 years of overall QA experience and a minimum of 1 years in Testing in J2EE based Applications Ability to write and design test strategies , test cases. Strong knowledge of QA processes - testing lifecycle , bug life cycle. Strong exposure to PL / SQL & RDBMS [oracle 10g & above] Ability to own and drive the testing of individual module of the product / project. Exposure to client interaction on UAT / PROD setups or Demos. People Management experience of managing at least 2 to 4 members. Exposure to Performance Testing , Stress Testing and Security Testing will be added advantage. Exposure to client facing role in the past will be added advantage. Personal Traits: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Should be excellent in Time Management , Planning Skills & Organizing Skills. Should have worked earlier on implementations and release management Strong Manual testing experience on Web - based applications. Preferred Skills: Exposure to Automation Testing knowledge required [QTP / Selenium knowledge] Ability to write JAVA / PERL / SHELL scripts will be added advantage.
