Job Description

    About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with a focus on ensuring software reliability, stability, and performance. This position involves working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to create and execute test plans that drive quality improvements for our products.Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Selenium with Java and TestNG.
    • Conduct manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and improvements, ensuring a smooth user experience.
    • Create, maintain, and update test scripts, cases, and scenarios to validate application functionality.
    • Integrate test scripts with CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and regular testing.
    • Execute API testing using Postman to validate back-end services and ensure proper integration.
    • Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and identify areas for testing.
    • Identify, document, and track defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolutions.
    • Report on testing activities and results, providing feedback on overall quality.
    • Continuously improve testing practices by adopting best practices and tools.
    • Manage test cases using Zephyr and integrate testing tools with JIRA for efficient defect tracking and reporting.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in both manual and automation testing.
    • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG.
    • Familiarity with API testing tools, especially Postman.
    • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
    • Experience working with version control tools such as Git.
    • Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
    • Solid analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Familiarity with MongoDB for database testing and validation.
