Job Description

  • Use standard testing methodologies to develop and execute test plans including system, regression, performance, and stress testing for new products and product enhancements
  • Write test plans for our games, develop manual test cases and scripts, and execute testing manually for a multitude of devices
  • Document defects using a bug tracking system
  • Work closely with development team to ensure that defects are rectified
  • Conduct usability testing sessions for our games with children in our target age-groups and provide actionable feedback to the development team
  • Contribute to recruiting new talent, as per the organisationrsquos needs
Minimum qualifications:
  • Passionate about working for a social cause and making a huge difference to the lives of underprivileged kids in developing countries
  • At least 2 years of software QA experience
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • A scrappy, entrepreneurial attitude and drive that gets high-quality projects done quickly
  • English proficiency - spoken and written
Additional preferred qualifications:
  • 1 years of experience testing iOS and Android games and apps
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience conducting usability testing sessions with end-users
  • Experience working with a distributed team
