For more information, visit www.globalfoundries.com.Introduction GLOBALFOUNDRIES is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Quality Assurance Lead to work in the Global Tapeout Operations organization. You will be responsible for the quality, functionality and usability of the solutions and infrastructure that will be utilized to generate mask data in the Tapeout Operations organization. The successful candidate will work with 100% quality and minimal cycle time in mind. This role requires a close working relationship with the software engineers that develop the tools and the engineers that use these tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics in order to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip manufacturing. Job Responsibilities

  • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
  • Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
  • Plan, execute, and oversee end-to-end testing of the Tapeout platform to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
  • Support the tracking, documenting, and reporting of quality levels in alignment with the organizational goals/KPIs
  • Identify and track reported issues to ensure closure
  • Develop and maintain test cases
  • Support test automation
  • Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development
  • Provide training and support to quality assurance team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes
, *Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of professional experience, programming with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Korn Shell, Tcl/Tk) on LINUX platform; and test automation frameworks
  • Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor
  • Superb computer competence, including database management (SQL)
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Semiconductor domain, more specifically, in Tapeout operations
  • Master s Degree
  • Experience with leading an engineering team
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
  • Experience with Jira (Atlassian collaboration tool) or other defect tracking tool(s)
