Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Phase 1 in the construction of the new electric locomotive factory for manufacturing and supply of 800 units of 12000HP locomotives is also complete at Madhepura, Bihar while the depot at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh is ready to commence operation. Alstom has set up an Engineering Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, and this coupled with a strong manufacturing base as well as localized supply chains, is uniquely positioned to serve customers across the globe. Today, Alstom in India employs close to 3600 people and in line with Government of India s Make in India policy initiative, Alstom has been investing heavily in the country in producing world class rolling stock, components, design, research and development to not only serve the domestic market, but also rest of the world.www.alstom.com/ India OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Manage the RSC Quality Teams in order to ensure the deliveries from the Site are at the right quality level. Cascade & implement the Site objectives within the Quality organisation. Implement quality policy & tools at Site level.Network & Links: Internal: Site Management Committee, AT Quality network. He is a member of the Site management Committee. External: Customers representative, suppliers, sub-contractorsReportingDirect - India Quality DirectorAccountabilities & Authorities:Quality Action Plan:

• Develop Quality Culture & Right First Time Approach.
• Ensure consistency of QCD objectives and the contractual/regulatory obligations applicable to the projects.
• Drives continuous improvement plans to analyze and reduce the CONQ, NCR, Safety issues and Demerit

Quality embedded in operations:

• Deploy Quality Policy within the management committee of the Site,
• Responsible for Quality and Safety assessment of the products & services delivered, according to the contractual quality requirements.
• Increase Customer satisfaction through periodic meetings, Customers Surveys, product delivery controls,
• Manage and escalate Top issues impacting safety and customer
• Ensure that Supplier DFQ Gate Reviews and FAI are done in time, including waiver when required
• Ensure Alstom DFQ process for new project/product development is managed well and support Project team to follow-up related actions closure

Quality Resources Management:

• Lead, Manage and develop Quality teams, using quality school, expertise, and APSYS.
• Deploy standard tools and indicators, and contribute to their improvement

QMS and Process management:

• Ensure Process governance, Risk and Opportunity management with site interested parties.
• Evaluate by Internal Audits the quality performance in each process.
• Ensure the right update about the Quality (QMS) Reference documents, using REX process.
• Ensure site QMS conformance against Alstom standards, Customer standards and ISO9001/IRIS requirements

Performance measurements:

• Standard Quality KPI (RFT, Demerit, CONQ, FAI, DFQ, Go on Time, K1, K2, K3 .)
• APSYS score, Internal & External Audits results
• Customer satisfaction, through Customer audits & yearly sites evaluation

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:EDUCATION: Bachelor degree / Masters Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical)Expert in MS Office suite, MS Outlook, MS TeamsLanguages : English & Hindi: fluentExperience - 20 yearsBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

• Fluent in English and Hindi
• Multi-cultural Management Teamwork and Customer oriented
• Data driven and courageous, rigor
• Ability to manage teams in cross and multicultural relationships

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing / industrial quality.
• Experience in managing Quality tools and problem solving tools.
• Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications ) would be an asset
• Language Skills: English, Hindi & Local Language
• IT Skills: SAP
