Job Description

Short Description

  • End-to-end understanding of accounting processes (Sub-ledger Ledger Trial Balance Financials Reporting etc.)
  • Domain Experience in Financial Reporting with HFM Knowledge
  • Preparation & review schedules per USGAAP
  • Close Monitoring of Month End Close Schedule to adhere the Customer Close calendar.
  • Review of Trial Balance and critical accounts during the Month End process and discuss with the customer on the deviations.
  • Review of Critical Balance Sheet accounts by understanding the company policies from a controllership perspective.
  • In-depth knowledge of Inter Company, Fixed Assets Model and Treasury / Bank.
  • Establishes and monitors the control framework within the client processes context and redesign the controls to meet the objectives.
  • Responsible to initiate continuous process improvements within process of Reconciliations, Journals and Month End Process.

  • Taking care of compliance, SOX audits and customer financial audits.
  • Build and manage the entire reporting, dashboards for the Customer business
  • Sound understanding and application knowledge on accounting principles (Consistency, Conservatism, Accrual, Going Concern, Matching, Revenue Recognition)
  • Knowledge of Plant Accounting is preferred
  • Good understanding of AP and AR processes preferred
