It starts with assessing the Credit worthiness of the Customer when they apply for Credit products to final phase of Collections if they go delinquent.About Role:As a Product Manager in Credit Risk and collections team, You will be responsible for building data centric platform solutions for credit risk and collections by working closely with Lead Product Manager, Business, and Engineering and empower them and influence them through the insights.The ideal candidate is expected toUnderstand business needs, end to end customer experiences when building platform solutions.Be aware of the Credit business and their strategy to be able to build to scale.Partner with cross functional teams and collaborate with them to do right thing for the customersAbility to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunchingAbility to work independently, at times with minimal guidance and ambiguous data to create actionable insightsJob Description Roles and ResponsibilitiesDefine product requirements and lead successful execution of initiativesEngage closely with Lead Product Manager, engineering and architecture in Agile methodology to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs.Exploring data to find actionable insights and make product recommendations through funnels, cohort analyses, long-term trends, user segmentation and more.Identifying, translating, prioritizing, and informing important product questions with data driven insights.Crafting and automating reports to help businesses derive actionable insights.Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions.Engage in problem solving with Lead Product manager and analytics to determine trends and root causes.Troubleshooting any gaps, inconsistencies, and discrepancies in data to make sure we work with accurate informationPartner with Customer Support teams in solving pain points for our users.Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries.Understand and create user and customer personas to provide actionable insights to improve conversions and user experienceMinimum Required Skills/Qualifications:Minimum of a BE is required, MBA or MS preferredMinimum 2 years of experience as a product manager with the proven track record for building, launching key initiatives in data/reporting productsOverall Experience of 5 years with 3 years of exposure in Software Engineering/Analytics fieldExcellent communication and presentation skills written and verbalInnovative, entrepreneurial, ability to multi-taskHighly motivated, goal driven, Can-do approach, curious and open mindedWorking knowledge of SQL and experience using SQL with quantitative data.Strong knowledge of working on Excels and Macros.Programming experience in Python will be a bonusTech savvy which loves to stay on top of industry trendUnderstanding of business centric measurement (conversions/retention, funnels, user journeys) will be a big plusUnderstanding of lending industry will be a plusOur Benefits:At PayPal, we re committed to building an equitable and inclusive global economy.
