  • Role :Cloud Operations Engineer
  • Role Description :Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations. Manage the environment incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, or automation incidents / requests.

  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : In depth understanding and experience working different Linux Server Platforms Experience in system administration tasks in Linux or Unix and familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates, key management, Patching Good understanding of standard networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, the OSI Model, networking, Linux cluster and load balancing Very strong experience handling NFS/CIFS protocol in mission critical production environment
      • Technical Experience : Define the deployment standards as and when required Customized image management using Kickstart or setting up network based environment for deploying multiple servers by incorporating third parties rpms like drivers and application recommended settings during installation Ability to work closely and coordinate with multiple teams, including clients Adopting multiple technologies like networking/storage Understanding and adhering to Incident/Change Management Process Creating and maintain
      • Professional Attributes : Looking for 5 Plus years experienced candidates Linux Certification Scripting and infrastructure automation using for example, Ansible, Python, shell Added advantage knowledge on Networking, working with different Server hardware and storage concepts Familiarity with any cloud knowledge preferably
    • Educational Qualification : Graduate
