Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • This role is specialized in Redhat OpenShift technology. Ideal Candidate will work with internal customers to design and deliver the architecture for complex custom projects using the latest technologies to build advanced, containerized applications running on OpenShift deployed on-premise or in the cloud. The successful candidate will have deep understanding of OpenShift platform as well as experience with microservices. Ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of core IT experience with 2-4 years in Redhat OpenShift space.Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Develops strategic solutions that align with the business objectives and architectural direction of the organization.
  • Drives the design and ensures delivery of departmental and internal GIS programs
  • Leverages infrastructure technology to develop and/or redesign technology solutions
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Builds, leverages and maintains effective alliances across technical and business community
  • Interacts with customers, vendors, and leadership to achieve effective, strategic, and fiscally responsible results
  • Seen as a technical expert across the organization
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Key focus will be on Continuous Improvements(CIPs)
  • Planning, designing, and implementation of new IT initiatives

  • Eager to take on new challenges and proactively develop new technical skills
  • Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Designing, developing and implementing Red Hat OpenShift 4.x (on-prem and Cloud)
  • 2 year of experience Container images deploy & release management with Openshift and/or Kubernetes
  • 2 year of experience Openshift / Kubernetes high availability and disaster recovery across data centers
  • On-going maintenance and support of the new Red Hat OpenShift 4.x platform and Openshift 3.x
