RedHat OpenShift Systems Programming ExpertExp: 4-8yrsLocation: BangaloreResponsible for adapting , design ,development and deployment of CloudStack on RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.The components span the full stack of cloud , ex: networking , load balancing , authorization , storage ,scheduling ,user management , virtualization , security and monitoring tools. You shall be responsible for building new proof-of-concepts to explore various state of the art tools and technologies . You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle - from requirements , design , development ,integration , reviews and qualification of the Cloud StackQualifications:Candidate shall be a Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science from a reputed institute with 4- 8 years of experience A web developer with background on systems programming and understanding of Operating system concepts with 4 years of hands-on across large scale cloud application software development. Have significant exposure to virtualization concepts in general , specifically with containerizations and cloud development environment. Have 3+ years of experience working with RedHat OCP based deployments and involved in building Cloud native container systems to deployments. Hands on expertise in Cloud system components - ex : Authentication, Authorization , storage , schedulers , cluster management tools , security in the context of RH OCP ( and other container management platforms is an added plus) Strong Linux System Skills - and hands on experience in building Linux based system components is essential Hands on exposure to working in Public cloud environments as AWS and/or Azure. Hands on experience in virtualization and container technologies. Have good understanding and exposure of development of distributed cluster and operating system architecture is added plus. Contribution to Linux development distributions or inhouse development is value add.Hands on experience in scaling container based applications using microservices with Java, using Docker containers and/or Open Container Initiative (OCI) Hands on experience in using Container orchestration tools - Kubernetes Hands on experience with Container Networking, application deployment using CI/CD Comfortable with using Linux based development environments (Red Hat) Exposure to OpenStack is a plus Exposure to Databases including SQL NO-SQL would be an added advantage Exposure to MVC and de-coupled web-tier architecture. Strong programming background for systems development covering multi-threading, inter-process communications, synchronization with C/C++/Java is preferred. Coding skills on Python, REST APIs, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.The candidate shall haveExcellent problem solving and communication skills with both technical and non-technical groups. Creative thinking : Ability to create ideas to solve problems and come up with innovative solutions. Technical thinking : Ability to break down complex data and engineering issues and solve problems. Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle. Experience with development methodology with iterative short release cycles.
