This role will report to the VP of APAC Territory Sales and is a key member of the APAC Leadership team.The successful candidate will have a strategic and growth mindset. This is a truly unique career opportunity to continue to build your sales leadership legacy by growing a high performing team with huge visibility and impact for the company worldwide.Job Description Summary:Plan and direct the development and implementation of business and people strategies that support meeting the function s key financial and non-financial objectives. Drives policy and program matters with executive staff recommending appropriate actions consistent with strategic and operating priorities of the Division. Working in a collaborative manner, this position will evaluate and implement improvements to the function, developing and executing a plan that contributes to the success of the Division and Autodesk. This position develops the annual budget and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the function.Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors effectiveness of policies, practices and processes to determine efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversees execution of strategic sales and marketing programs, including product launches, trade shows, developer conferences, channel development events, and customer seminars.
  • Forecasts sales and assigns quota responsibilities to sales managers. Responsible for achieving or exceeding assigned revenue quotas. Interfaces closely with sales teams in order to drive business and generate revenue.
  • Provides market analysis and feedback to corporate marketing and sales staff concerning market direction, customer needs, product requirements and business opportunities. Gives guidance to product roadmaps. Participates in determining pricing strategy.
  • Manages significant region revenue and expense budgets. acts as final escalation in the authorization of discounts.
  • Represents Autodesk at customer, reseller and/or industry events
  • Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
  • Responsible for selection, mentoring, coaching, performance management and assessment, and rewards and recognition.
  • Responsible for building a high performing team, with a strong sense of the Autodesk culture, values and ways of working
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of Autodesk. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
  • Lead or sponsor cross functional or intra-divisional projects for client organization or the Division, especially projects related to streamlining and/or improving processes and systems.
