Job Description

    Reporting to the HR DirectorPune ISC HR Leader Pune Manufacturing Plant Job DescriptionIn this role, the incumbent is responsible for all HR strategies and processes for our Pune manufacturing facility. The incumbent will partner with cross-functional teams & leaders to broker HR services and actively engage in staffing, organizational development, talent management & development, internal communication, budgeting, performance management & Compliance management for Pune plant (ISC) on and off roll organization (~485 HC).A few of your main responsibilities will include:- Align critical human resources principles with business objectives. Increase overall performance of the organization by creating strong interactive partnerships with client groups.- Build a workforce that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing and retaining top talent. - STRAP & AOP: Prepare and drive STRAP/ AOP and other forecast exercises - Staffing and selection- actively drive the hiring process to build competitive workforce. - Workforce Strategy: Ensure efficient & compliant organization design for different categories of employees in the plant. - Succession Planning: Drive MRR for ISC team ensuring development and availability of talent pipeline for leadership and key operational positions. - Talent Development: Develop and drive plant level learning and talent development initiatives.Employee Engagement: Drive org initiatives with Plant leadership team to strengthen employee engagement. - University Relations: Actively drive University relations for plant organization.- Developing and driving HR initiatives process and employment practice improvement, training, metrics/trends and analysis.- Actively drive the performance management process for Plant organization in a timely manner. Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Ensure their availability to all employees.- Assure organization of events for employees as per specific requests of plant LT Drive continuous improvement and lead change.- Implement communication initiatives in the plant, together with the communications team. Issue and/ or validate internal communication documents ensuring respect of global standards on communication.- For Pune shop floor associates, lead the annual performance management process along with annual compensation benchmarking & planning exercise. Participate and actively drive completion of actions coming out of all meetings (tier 3 or 4), other meetings.- Proactively engage with Shop floor associates, vendor partners & other stakeholders to ensure smooth Labour Employee Relations on site (covering on and off roll employees). Ensure 100% Labour Compliance Management for Pune Plant covering On and off role organization. - Support Excellence Model implementation both in Plant HR team and Pune Plant operations. Coach, guide and partner with ISC HR teams to deliver HR agenda for the plant. Develop successor for the Plant HR leader.- Represent Pune ISC on relevant internal ( Country level meetings, global ISC forums) & external forums (Labour Authorities, industry peers and customer forums)YOU MUST HAVE: - An MBA degree in HRM & LR from a reputed institute. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR related areas. Experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred. - Good knowledge of Labour laws and ability to apply them to practical day to day plant situations. - Excellent communication skills with people of different backgrounds; global mindset and ability to operate in a multicultural environment; Advanced level of English both in written and verbal communication. Ability to understand and speak in Marathi.- Ability to work in a strong matrix environment; Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
