In 2015 the company name was registered as ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited (GISPL).ABB Motors and Generators deliver a complete range of motors, generators and mechanical power transmission products for all industries and applications. We provide the highest quality and service to our customers all around the world, with a focus on helping to use energy more efficiently.Reporting to the Team Manager, you will be mainly focusing on activities such as analysis on vibrational data, magnetic data, acoustic data and standard signals (Current, Voltage, Temperature) to measure performance and determine condition of the HV/LV motors and components, developing methods to detect and highlight potential failures before they happen, playing a key role to optimize service operations.Your responsibilities

  • Leading from technical perspective collaboration with research personnel in corporate research centres and within the R&D Center, on new algorithms for machine diagnosis and learning.
  • Understanding of vibration data acquisition systems, vibration sensors, signal processing software and condition monitoring techniques.
  • Performing AI based algorithms for pattern recognition in large data base.
  • Leading development of new algorithms and improvement of existing algorithms to increase reliability and discernibility of algorithms.
  • Guiding other team members about the technology development process.
  • Interacting with programming team to help implement developed and tested algorithms.
  • Performing data mining and observe patterns in collected data and analyzed information.

Your background
  • Bachelor s or master s degree in electronics, computer science, electrical or equivalent.
  • Should have 5 to 7 years of experience.
  • Good knowledge of electrical Signals and Systems.
  • Knowledge of Analog and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
  • Knowledge of FFT,DFT, filtration techniques etc.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python and C.
  • Good to have domain knowledge of Motor and Generators.
  • Good to have knowledge of Vibration Analysis of Motor and Generators.
  • Nice to have knowledge of condition monitoring of Motors and Generators.
