Job Description

  • As a Software Developer, you are responsible to provide support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for RoR architecture/design patterns and Object-Oriented Design methodologies
  • Develop messaging applications using Redis and Resque framework
  • Manage Red Hat Ansible Tower, YAML, Python, and write simple Ansible playbooks
  • Responsible for managing Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) and deploying containerized applications on OCP
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in technical leadership, leading design and development and delivery of key features, running a development agile scrum team and sprint planning, and managing team tasks.
  • Expertise in RoR full stack web development with experience building REST services.
  • Proficient in building Microservices solutions using open-source tech stack. Knowledge in implementing Microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience in working with containers & containerization of applications. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding in MariaDB and PostgreSQL DB, data modeling/schema design, and strong SQL database knowledge.
  • Knowledge in working with Git with strong knowledge of source control process and ZenHub (or similar tool)
  • In-depth exposure with build & release tools and Devops Continuous Integration and Deployment tools like Jenkins
  • Hands-on knowledge in Linux platforms as RoR development platform
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Domain knowledge in IT Systems and Service Management
  • Basic knowledge IBM Netcool Omnibus and Impact
  • Basic knowledge of Ticketing system such as Service Now
