We are looking at someone who wants to be a part of this journey and is excited to come and work with us in Amazon Pay Smart Stores India. Our vision is to make Amazon Pay Smart Stores the most trusted, convenient and rewarding way for our offline customers and merchants to transact. We want to be the most preferred instrument when a customer and merchant transact in offline stores. Towards solving for the various pain points of offline customers, we envisioned Amazon Pay Smart Stores program in 2019 with the objective of making the offline shopping experience affordable, convenient and trusted so that Amazon becomes the starting point of shopping, online or offline. To realize this vision, one of our missions is to build a large merchant selection in various categories along-with an independently profitable merchant business. We aim to onboard 1MM merchants on Amazon Pay Smart Stores in the next three years and drive 2bn USD in TPV.About the Role:We are looking for a hands-on, detail oriented and highly motivated individual to handle sales operations for Amazon Pay Smart Stores. a) Candidate should setup the onboarding and account management operations SOPs. b) The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with technology systems and be able to analyze data and gather actionable conclusions. c) Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations. d) The candidate needs to be comfortable in executing repeatable processes once operating procedures are set and defined. e) She/he should have an eagerness to explore new processes/opportunities for creation of new solves for merchant challenges, at scale. Key job responsibilitiesRole and Responsibilities: 1. Manage the launch (registration, fees set-up, offer set-up, merchandising dispatch) of the stores of the category within the defined SLA2. Manage the complete onboarding process (training, merchandising, activation, cashier offers) with the desired activation %3. Maintain Stores with a Sale % above the expected active% on a monthly basis4. Plan and execute initiatives to improve store and cashier/promoter engagement5. Execute initiatives to improve APP share in Softlines6. Own the VOS for the category and be SPOC for issue reporting and resolution7. Reporting on key metrics to brands and the internal team 8. Work closely with the program and product team and support roll out of new product features and drive their adoption with partners. 9. Be comfortable working with large data sets. Should be able to interpret the data into meaningful actionable outcomes by streamlining current reporting formats by taking business inputs and working with BI teams., Prior background in sales/ operations would be preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both external and internal partners in a professional and mature manner. Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Bachelors degree required Experience in an analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction Passion for operational excellence and discipline in executing repeatable processes Working knowledge of MS Excel and SQL MBA degree Exposure to e-commerce and payments industry is an advantage.
