    Job Description of Sales Engineer Position Summary Sales Engineer for the region for responsible for achieving the targets set for sales of Completes and Parts, Ensure after-market support to customers. This is to be achieved in conjunction with the dealerships by developing them to function independently. Be proactive on market share, building brand loyalty and work towards identifying new opportunities and new product opportunities. Manage the daily activities of sales of a particular region/zone and implement organizations sales strategy to achieve the over all target for that particular region. Role and Responsibility Achievement of Business targets for the respective region Set targets for the respective integral sales team and that of the dealerships Plan coordinate and execute in conjunction with the dealerships the prospecting and finalization of complete Equipment sales. Set targets for the Parts Biz. And execute the same Sets the vision for the Zone and develops and adheres to a business plan Dealership Development Partner with the dealerships to make the dealerships viable and sustainable Train and develop dealer manpower to independently handle the business in terms of complete and parts sales and aftermarket support Market study and optimum utilization of opportunities Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability. Disseminate information to sales managers for optimum utilization of opportunities Communication To Internal Sales and Service team, with product support team, with the functional heads and with the customers Requirement Education: BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of Air compressor, Excellent communication and negotiation skills, Analytical skills and Expert capability in channel management. Experience: Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in Air compressor sales, experience working as an independent area/territory representative.
