Job Description

As part of their Global Expansion they are setting up base in Bangalore, India.Our Client philosophy is to try and keep things simple. At the same time, they have successfully delivered numerous Bespoke Developments, System Migrations and Integration Services with a diverse number of external systems.Responsibilities:

  • SAP Basis Administration for SAP Netweaver AS Java / ABAP
  • SAP Installations and Upgrades
  • Database administration, upgrades and patching
  • SAP system performance tuning
  • SAP User Administration and Authorizations
  • SAP system monitoring and troubleshooting
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle or other data bases like SAP HANA and MaxDB
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Basis system administration on SAP ABAP and Java system
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Linux and / or Windows operating systems. Knowledge of testing strategies, technical monitoring, incident management, and performance tuning
  • Experienced with Virtualisation, Windows and Linux/UNIX server administration
  • Knowledge of Oracle, HANA and / or other database administration
  • Familiar with Agile Software Development Mythologies
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with global teams
  • Good interpersonal, oral communication, and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of System Administration and development life cycle
  • Knowledge of SAN, OS, Network and advanced hardware concepts
Essential Job Skills:
  • Microsoft Windows operating system and database administration
  • SAP Basis Administration
  • Innovative problem solving & analysis
  • Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills.

  • Fluent English language / German would be nice
  • Willingness to make occasional trips at abroad.
