We offer you a position where .* This position is responsible to deliver SAP production support & project operations running critical business functions.* Candidate will be Senior Technical lead/Architect taking accountability of planning quarterly releases / infrastructure outages/infrastructure design.* Provide technical expertise and direction to drive effective operations related to support activities. Supports multiple products like ERP,SCM,CRM,GTS,SNC,Solution Manager ,SRM,BW on HANA, Potal system like BPM,MDM* Candidate will be coordinating with Architects & SMEs across different verticals including Infrasture teams, SAP ABAP & Functional, Testing & Validation Team, Webmethods Integration team, Business Intellegence & End users* SAP End users, SAP Developers, SAP Functional Teams and Release management team are the stakeholders for this position.* Candidate will be resposible for leading strategic initiatives as requested by SAP Basis team management.* Candidate will be escalation contact for major issue/BIsResponsibilities in the role * Govern contract staff to ensure outcomes adequately meet the needs of Medtronic including skill set and staff ratio mix, training curriculum and execution to maintain currency/relevancy, day-to-day assignments, response and resolution of system issues/outages, and monitoring of system and prevention of outages.* Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems and risks to the environment. This may include working cross functionally with other technology teams, geographies and disciplines.* Responsible for developing and maintaining the technical details for SOPs (refresh, migrations, configuration, installs, etc.) and ensure are followed to maintain a viable system* Plan and participate into quarterly releases / infrastructure outages. Execute tasks per plan.* Provide technical expertise and direction to drive effective operations related to support activities.* Balance responsibilities of technical leadership and hands-on administration to maintain/support a global SAP environment including troubleshooting problems, escalating open issues, implementing solutions, and optimize the system for maximum performance* Serve as liaison to vendor support/technical staff to escalate, analyze, and resolve issues.* Provide insight and demonstrated knowledge to influence various strategies including;SAP Environment Planning including creation, refreshes, back-up, and recoverySAP Roadmap outlining the timing for upgrades, service/enhancement packs, and implementation of new modulesTransport Management Strategy* Work with other related technology teams displaying insight and knowledge to understand and influence technical direction and strategy.Skills Required * Graduate Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science with full time Educational qualification* 12-15 Years experience in the field of SAP Basis Systems administration* Below are the Technical skills required for this position* Minimum 11 years of experience in SAP Basis Operations both support & projects* Expert in Implementing and supporting solutions on SAP different Products and technology stack of SAP Enterprise Core Component (ECC), Business Intelligence (BI), Enterprise Portal (EP), BW on HANA, SLD, Process Integration (PI/PO), Fiori, CRM, Solution Manager7.2/7.1, GRC, TREX, JAVA systems, SLT Administration etc.* Expert in technical project planning, new dimensional SAP products, Capacity Planning (sizing), High-availability and Disaster-recovery setup, SAP migrations, SAP EHP upgrades, Stack Upgrades.* Experienced in planning complex and critical production activities and tasks.* Very good understanding on Database, OS, Storage & Network operations.* Good analytical & troubleshooting skills, ability to explain complex technical solutions and architecture strategies to non-technical resources* Strong experience with operations of large-scale global SAP landscapes.* Solution manager 7.1/7.2 Configuration- SMD Agent Maintenance, SLD, LMDB, Managed System configuration, Maintainenance planner, charm Maintainenance.* Must have a knowledge of SAP JAVA and ABAP Stack, Split, SWPM, SLTOOLs etc.* ITIL Process Framework familierity needed* Soft skills:Ability to work individually (self-motivated) and within a team environment.Ability to communicate effectively with Various team.Good verbal, email and documentation skills* Flexibility needs* Should be flexible to work on weekends & off hours during manintanence activities.* Flexible to travel based on needPreferred (Optional) SkillsGood knowledge on DB2 & Oracle DatabaseGood Knowledge on AIX & RHEL OSWhat the role offers you at GTC Medtronic * The role provides the opportunity to be part of a team which brings the innovation, automation & framework together building a strong eco system.
