Job Description

    Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
    • Collaborate with business and IT from different functional background (FICO,SD,MM,LO,BCS) to understand the business requirements for BW topics
    • Working within the business and other team members to build requirements and design functional specifications for the data warehouse and front end reports. Maintain a clear understanding of the potential impacts of proposed solutions on the other areas of the system and/or project.
    • Key role in the analysis, design, development and testing of SAP Business Warehouse applications as well as front end reports
    • Implement and ensure adherence to guidelines to implementation, architecture guidelines and support standards
    • Define and promote best practice methodologies for the BI solutions
    • Ensure BW solutions are aligned with the major stakeholders for KPI standards and roadmap
    • Collaborate with the administration team for system maintenance and upgrade
    Domain
    • Good functional knowledge on the enterprise modules like Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sales & Distribution, Material management, BCS
    Technical
    • 3-4 years of experience in data warehousing (BW7.x, BW4HANA, BW on HANA) and reporting solutions
    • Work experience in functional areas of modules like Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sales & Distribution, Material management, BCS
    • Work experience in all three phases BW Reporting, Extraction and Modeling and should be individual contributor with at least 2 end to end implementations
    • Experience with Initialization, Delta and Full Data Extraction from different data sources using standard and custom data extractor.
    • Extensive experience in designing, developing, testing and implementing BI reports using BEX and Business Objects tools
    • Should have very strong experience in ABAP skills like Start, End, Expert and Field level Routines & Debugging skills where ever requires
    • Detailed knowledge in gathering requirements for BI reporting solutions including visualization
    Involved in creating BEX, WAD and SAC reports.- Should carry out requirement gathering, and documents like high level / detailed technical design document and documentation of BI solutions- Good understanding of SAC, various BO tools and should be able to collaborate with BO consultants effectivelyInterpersonal & Communication
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
