Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Collaborate with business and IT from different functional background (FICO,SD,MM,LO,BCS) to understand the business requirements for BW topicsWorking within the business and other team members to build requirements and design functional specifications for the data warehouse and front end reports. Maintain a clear understanding of the potential impacts of proposed solutions on the other areas of the system and/or project.Key role in the analysis, design, development and testing of SAP Business Warehouse applications as well as front end reportsImplement and ensure adherence to guidelines to implementation, architecture guidelines and support standardsDefine and promote best practice methodologies for the BI solutionsEnsure BW solutions are aligned with the major stakeholders for KPI standards and roadmapCollaborate with the administration team for system maintenance and upgradeSkillsDomainGood functional knowledge on the enterprise modules like Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sales & Distribution, Material management, BCSTechnical5-6 years of experience in data warehousing (BW7.x, BW4HANA, BWonHANA) and reporting solutionsWork experience in functional areas of modules like Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sales & Distribution, Material management, BCSWork experience in all three phases BW Reporting, Extraction and Modeling and should be individual contributor with at least 2 end to end implementationsExperience with Initialization, Delta and Full Data Extraction from different data sources using standard and custom data extractorsExtensive experience in designing, developing, testing and implementing BI reports using BEX and Business Objects toolsShould have very strong experience in ABAP skills like Start, End, Expert and Field level Routines & Debugging skills where ever requiresDetailed knowledge in gathering requirements for BI reporting solutions including visualizationInvolved in creating BEX, WAD and SAC reports.Should carry out requirement gathering, and documents like high level / detailed technical design document and documentation of BI solutionsGood understanding of SAC, various BO tools and should be able to collaborate with BO consultants effectivelyInterpersonal & CommunicationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal, communication, and project management skillsMust be a self-starter ability to work independentlyHigh collaborative, team playerCustomer focusedResponsibilities:Collaborate with business and IT from different functional background (FICO,SD,MM,LO,BCS) to understand the business requirements for BW topicsWorking within the business and other team members to build requirements and design functional specifications for the data warehouse and front end reports.
