Job Description

    Role: SAP MDM consultantWork location: BangaloreExperience: 5 to6yearsNotice period: Immediate to 20DaysPOSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : Manage and drive responsibilities to Master Data team, establishing strong relationships with business contacts, and making decisions to provide resolutionsEnsuring consistent Data & Data structure within SAP of Material Master Data and work to streamline data from ERP systemsManaging Master data management processes related to the creation, maintenance, and quality of all master and reference dataTaking up escalations & issues, analysis & resolution.Ability to train and tell the story of master data in an advanced IT environment.Understanding of SAP BOM (Bill of Material) structures.Comprehend incoming and outgoing data flows for SAP master data, BOMs and costingComprehend and explain master data creation and change processes.Create and oversee the governing policies around Vendor/ Customer/ Material / Pricing master data respectively as per the area of workUpdate /maintain the departmental procedures (SOPs) tools, and metrics for the master data teamMonitor and ensure that the companys master data business rules, policies and procedures are adhered toExtract data from SAP and validate against data rules.Ensure data processes and records comply with Financial controlsEnsure MDM processes and tools meet SAP costing and pricing requirementsPerform user acceptance testing on defect resolution and enhancements during UAT testing during new toolProduct/material master, vendor management and pricing skillset
