Job Description

    SAP PS Bangalore8-12 years of experienceKey Responsibilities:
    • Lead end-to-end implementation across various industries such as Infrastructure Construction, ETO, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Oil & Gas, and Public Sector, both domestically and internationally.
    • Demonstrate strong expertise in SAP PS processes, including Structures, Scheduling, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Project Procurement (Material and Services), Material Requirement Planning, Assembly Processing, Resource-related Billing, Timesheets, Progress Analysis, Results Analysis, Settlement, Overhead, Period-end Activities, and other project management functions.
    • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP PS configuration and integration with CO, FI, MM, SD, PM, and PP modules.
    • Proficient in technical aspects like standard tables, BAPIs, with experience in 3rd party interfaces and complex enhancements.
    • Familiarity with standard authorization objects and the creation of custom authorization objects, as well as handling transport requests and sequencing.
    • Experience with S/4HANA (On-Premise, Private Cloud) is required; knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud is an advantage.
    • Expertise in Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), Financial Planning (CPM), and PICM is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Fiori, BTP, and Analytics is advantageous.
    • Facilitate workshops to gather and map business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop process flow charts and design documents that integrate with other SAP modules.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business processes to design and implement appropriate system solutions, ensuring customer requirements are well-documented and validated.
    • Design, customize, configure, and test the SAP PS module; identify and resolve any gaps or issues with workaround solutions.
    • Document functional designs, test cases, and results effectively.
    • Prepare test scenarios, detailed test scripts, and execute UT, SIT, and UAT in accordance with the testing strategy; familiarity with testing tools like HPQC is an advantage.
    • Lead data extraction, guide business users through template updates, and manage mock and final cutovers, ensuring data validation throughout the process.
    • Proactively suggest business process improvements or system enhancements; provide consulting support for both new implementations and ongoing support projects.
    • Conduct training for core team members, super users, and end users using tools like SAP Enable Now.
    • Work independently and as part of a team, mentoring junior members when needed.
