Job Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Having good exposure on different bioprocesses for knowledge transfer from process development team.
  • Understanding process and equipment requirement for process and equipment validation.
  • Arrangement and scheduling of equipment, utilities as per process requirement.
  • Conducting batches to validate the process and data development for further scale up.
  • Equipment and Utility sizing, URS preparation.
  • Can draft/edit basic documents like PFD, PID etc.
  • Should have knowledge of different standards like ASME, BPE etc.
  • Be a conscientious laboratory citizen, adhere to EH&S standards, and use knowledge of laboratory procedures to advance projects under shifting priorities and timelines.
  • The position is full-time.

CANDIDATES PROFILE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • M.Sc. /B.Tech in Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related field.
  • 6 years work experience in in bio-industrial, pharma or life sciences preferably in Scale up and technology transfer.
  • Experience in unit operations like fermentation, filtration, drying, centrifugation etc as well as experience in aseptic technique and other classical microbiology techniques is desired
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential as well as good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
