Job Description

  • Effective facilitation of all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Backlog grooming, Scrum-of-Scrums, Sprint Review/Demo, Retrospective meeting).
  • Enable the team to identify and achieve the sprint goal
  • Removing impediments to the Development Team s progress
  • Ability to interact with team members across locations (onsite USA) for reviews, clarifications, design walk through etc.
  • Helping the team implement the actions identified during the Retrospective meetings
  • Working with the team to ensure Product Backlog is groomed for at least two sprints ahead, for effective planning of work
  • Helping team in documenting, tracking, and communicating information about defects bugs, enhancements, analysis, and unresolved problems
  • Creating various status and progress reports and updates as required by the organization
  • Helping Product Owner by finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management
  • Enable the Scrum team to reach high performing state
  • Mentoring and coaching the team to create high-value products.
  • Mentoring and coaching the team in self-organization, self-direction and cross-functionality.
  • Ability to maintain and track sprint backlogs in tools like Jira, Version One, Rally, TFS etc.
  • Participating in knowledge sharing with other Scrum Masters in the organization to leverage best practices, lessons learned, tools and other know-how to enable his/her own Scrum team to optimize its velocity and productivity
