Role Overview:As a Senior Software Engineer Backend at Licious, you will design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems, migrate applications to microservices, and drive best practices in architecture and coding. Join our team if you are excited about shaping the future of our technology stack!Key Responsibilities:- Scope and create technical documents for reference and reporting.- Define High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) to guide development.- Build, own, and optimize high-scale modules from scratch, while enhancing existing ones for improved scalability.- Lead the migration of applications to a Microservices Architecture, promoting code reusability and library usage.- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and mentor SDE-I & SDE-II for continuous improvement.- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.- Implement DevOps best practices, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and foster agile development methodologies.Qualifications Required:- 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consumer product company.- Proficiency in Java Programming with a strong understanding of MySQL/NoSQL databases.- Exposure to DevOps practices including CI/CD, Kubernetes basics, and Horizontal Pod Autoscaler.- Experience in scalable system design, distributed systems, and knowledge of design patterns.- Hands-on experience with message brokers, caching mechanisms, and writing unit test cases.- Effective communication skills to convey business and technical ideas clearly.- BE/BTech or an equivalent degree is required.Location:Onsite, BengaluruAbout the company:Licious is Indias leading D2C food-tech brand offering high-quality, fresh meat, and seafood to over 32 lakh customers across 20 cities.
