Build your career with us and apply today.Summary Responsible for deliverables in respect of all processing activities of Data Managment Operations executed by the team on a day-to-day basis. Acts as a subject matter expert and supports the team in understanding concepts relating to the process. Responsible for ensuring day to day process deliverables are met, without compromising on quality timeliness and accuracy. Further, provides input and support to TL in achieving common goals. Analytically and procedurally competent in representing the team and process deliverables. Responsible for coaching, mentoring and guiding team members on a continuous basis in order to achieve professional goals. Continuously raise the bar for the team to achieve hire results, improve client delivery and services. Major Duties Ensures Day to day SLA & Quality parameters are met. Checklists are prepared and validated by supervisors on a daily basisAbility to handle, escalate & resolve queries in a timely mannerBuilds a strong depository of the Middle Office/Custody Operations and Domain knowledge in the teamTo actively be involved in creating/ capturing process updates/ workflows pertaining to business & processConduct regular feedback sessions with direct and indirect reports.Responsible for completion of Performance Management process in a timely manner as per the firm s policies, guidelines and procedures.To perform root cause analysis of errors and suggest/ implement controls in consultation with the Team.To provide training sessions to new joiners and existing partners in the teamTo actively work on identifying and implementing process improvements in consultation with the team. To take the lead and implement such changes.To represent the team in various forums on Process related discussions.To participate extensively in ensuring that all new processes, migrations and client on boarding are completed with the required levels of diligence and documentation.To assist the team management on capacity planning and capacity utilization initiatives.To drive higher levels of performance at all times across the team.To initiate and lead team building activities within the teamTo actively participate in Audits/ BCP exercises as per the firms guidelines.To assist the supervisor/ Manager in conducting Risk/ BCP/ Compliance awareness sessionsTo build and drive awareness of client impact. Review and implement changes to the control framework on a continuous basis.Knowledge/ Skills Excellent understanding of functions to be performed as a Data Management Manager including understanding of Derivatives products and operations, Asset coding and pricing.Extensive exposure and hands on experience in the areas of Derivatives Trade Capture, Pre-Settlement Confirmation and Settlement processes involving interaction with counterparties and clients.Extensive exposure to SWIFT messaging and type of SWIFTs.Excellent written & oral communication skillsDemonstrate excellent analytical skills and a result oriented approachProven ability to build strong relationships with partners on site/ across business lines/ juniors and seniorsA proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriateA client focused approachExposure and understanding of Risk, Audit and Compliance factorsKnowledge of Capital Markets with exposure to all Derivative products, Custodian operations, Reconciliations, Accounting would be an added advantageExperience Required Minimum Industry experience of 10 years in the Derivative/Securities Operations is required. The candidate should have managed teams preferably for 3 years in his/her previous roles.,
