Job Description

Overview:A security professional who leads or as a member of a team, assists clients in the implementation of business and technology solutions and conducts assessments in conformance with various regulations and standards. Also serves clients as a subject matter expert in general areas of security as well as the following practice areas:

  • Governance and Risk Compliance - the consultant will assess and document client compliance and risk posture as they relate to information assets.
  • Payment Card Industry (PCI) - the consultant will deliver PCI readiness assessments and strategic consulting on a variety of PCI related client engagements.
  • Vulnerability Management - the consultant will create and oversee (as an active participant) vulnerability assessments to identify risk exposure in deployed solutions, policies, and procedures with a focus on identifying critical vulnerabilities on clients external and internal networks.
Description:
  • Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends alternatives.
  • Works on problems / projects of diverse complexity and scope.
  • Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.
  • May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process.
  • Ability to handle most unique situations.
  • May seek advice to make decisions on complex business issues.
Required Candidate profile
  • Researches the clients business and industry and able to offer an option or view.
  • Constructs visual models/whiteboard during informal meetings.
  • Creates roadmaps describing as is and to be customer environments.
  • Listens, asking open and closed questions and summarizing.
  • Articulates outcomes and key benefits focusing on value to both the client and DXC.
  • Facilitates the definition of processes and activities.
  • Organizes workshop logistics documenting workshop outputs facilitating part of the workshop or co-facilitate client events.
  • Contributes to building communication plans.
  • Shapes people orientated works streams and management of change activities.
  • Coaches and supporting individual clients focusing on their personal success.
  • Identifies risks and assumptions and shapes program governance.
  • Works on pre-sales opportunities to create valid business cases including ROI.
  • Develops proposed solutions, addressing client business issues and objectives using a combination of DXC standardized and customized services
