Job Description

    As an experienced member of Security Assurance (SA) Architecture team, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate about security and helps business fight cybercrime and reduce security risk. The candidate will join an experienced team of security architect specialists that have been tasked with performing threat modeling, security architecture review assessment and proposing technical controls of firm s critical infrastructure to ensure that they are highly resilient to threats (internal and external). They should be able to effectively balance workload, work effectively and closely with the regional/global stakeholders. This is a security architecture role, and the ideal candidate works with the security architecture, threat modeling and product engineering teams in reviewing and assessing strategic security solutions that are developed around Cloud and Emerging Technology Domains like Block Chain and AI/ML. They should be able to effectively balance workload, work effectively and closely with the regional/global stakeholders, for the Security Architecture team through architecture reviews and threat models. Specific Responsibilities:
    • Conduct and facilitate in-depth Security Architecture Review and Risk analysis of the firm s products (platform, application and associated infrastructure and network controls) to align product with organizational policies and standards, backed with verifiable evidence.
    • Design and create Security Architecture Models to align product with firms threat model methodology by working along with Product Teams from multiple technology domains involving hybrid-cloud, emerging technologies, platforms and services.
    • Identify Threats for the threat surface of product through an attack led approach; verify security control effectiveness in product environment through technical risk analysis and provide security recommendation for mitigation of risks.
    • Interact with stakeholder to provide excellent service post completion of the architecture review as well as interaction during the engagements.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
    • Candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in development of strategic security solutions to support JPMC businesses.
    Qualifications:
    • Knowledge in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
    • knowledge of enterprise architecture models/frameworks like TOGAF, Archimate, 4+1 architectural view model.
    • 4+ years of experience in offensive security penetration testing, red team.
    • Experience in working with tools like Draw.io
    • Demonstrated performance of at least 2 years experience with security design/architecture reviews, code reviews, threat modeling at an enterprise level
    • Moderate experience with at-least one Threat Modeling tool is highly preferred.
    • 7+ years of experience and technical depth in one (or more) of the following technology areas: Data Security, Infrastructure Security, Application Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint/Platform Security, Security Analytics and Security testing or compliance frameworks
    • Solid Experience in Microservices Architecture, Multi-Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), OAuth etc.
    • Good to have hands-on experience in building prototypes or full products in Cloud or container-based environments
    • Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes
    • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
    • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to create and maintain methodologies and process definitions
    • Experience developing, delivering, and managing large complex projects
