  • Primary Duties / Responsibilities
  • Responsible for executing Red team operations, working to test defensive mechanisms in an organization
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments at Cloud and Network levels utilising both automated tools and manual techniques.
  • Experience in Exploitation and vulnerabilities associated with most common operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), protocols (HTTP, FTP, etc.), and network security services (PKI, HTTPS, etc.)
  • Perform analysis of logs from various security controls to identify possible intrusion within the network or cloud.
  • Communicates technical issues within scope of assignment. Able to drive negotiation in the interest of security.
  • Conducts reviews of specific security fixes as necessary.
  • Conduct Cloud and Network penetration tests on IT/Cloud deployments, including exploit creation to demonstrate a proof of concept.
  • Assess the configuration of Firewall/SecurityGroups/NSG mechanisms, as well as, the engineering adherence to security policies.
  • Ability to automate tasks using a scripting language (Python, Go, Ruby, Powershell etc)
  • Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
  • BS degree or equivalent in computer science. Equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education
  • Minimum proven experience in Red Teaming - 2 to 4 years
  • Capable of writing exploits for identified vulnerabilities in the area of expertise
  • Basic knowledge of most common Cloud Security vulnerabilities and their best practices
  • Network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, host and network-based forensic experience
  • Proficiency in a programming language(s) (e.g. C, C, Python)
  • Proficiency in System Internals (Windows or Unix)
  • Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, Experience)
  • Industry Certifications (Eg: OSCP,GXPN) preferred
  • Expertise in at least one of the cloud platforms - Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Basic understanding of networking and vulnerability assessment tools such as: Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Empire, Nessus, Nexpose, nmap and similar tools
  • Experience with log analysis tools (Splunk/Logstash/ELK ) including their search language, search techniques, alerts, dashboards and report building.
