Job Description

Job Accountabilities:

  • Provides actionable recommendations on how to optimize the user experience, by considering speed, stability, and key user features
  • Delivers on analytics roadmap, while always identifying new opportunities and prioritization recommendations
  • Work with data engineers, data scientist, architects, software developers and business to design actionable strategic projects and break complex problems into smaller actionable tasks.
  • Leverage analytical insights to drive the Online support product development, operational optimization to improve key business/IT metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional engagements to define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models and make recommendations.
  • Build Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Prototypes
  • Collecting feedback and improve deployed products
  • Helps present findings to key stakeholders
  • Establish relationship with key business partners or Point of Contacts to accelerate issues fix;
  • Leverage team works or cross functional collaboration to improve customer experience;
  • Contribute to improve business Processes and reduce overall issues;
Qualifications:
  • Role Requirements:
    • Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Degree, or equivalent professional experience
    • 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 2+ years providing highly-actionable e-commerce analytics
    • Experience in any data mining, business analytics, data science or data scientist role
    • Experience with Python/R, Hadoop and SQL
    • Expertise in machine learning algorithms/concepts.
    • Hands-on analytics capabilities, expertise in analytical problem-solving techniques and frameworks and the ability to deal with large volumes of data.
    • Hands on experience with any visualization tools such as D3. js, Power BI, Tableau, and excel charting.
    • Strong capability of dealing with ambiguity
    • Eager to learn new skills and knowledge and apply new skills and concepts quickly
    • Comfortable with data cleaning processes to ensure data integrity
    • Understanding of support and deployment processes and or broader Tech Support ecosystem is a plus
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey analytic insights effectively to both IT and business audiences
    • Strong teamwork, business acumen, and customer advocacy skills
    • Strong presentation, leadership, business influence, and project management skills
  • Preferences:
    • MBA or Engineering Degree from top schools
    • Experience working within global teams
    • Candidate may come from different strategy consulting backgrounds- Management Consulting, Digital strategy or eCommerce strategy.
