The successful candidate will be part of a Global Accounting team serving EMEA clients. The candidate has to be flexible to work in all the shifts as per business demands. Partner will have the sole responsibility of timely and accurate delivery of standard reports / data to the clients on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. The partner will also be working closely with the account managers to understand the client requirements and coordinate with all the other partners of several set-up, sign-off and processing teams proactively to ensure that the client deliverables are met on time and with highest quality assured. Partner will also have to be a go-to person for all the analysts for seeking any technical advice. In addition, the selected candidate will also be required to assist the TLs in the day-to-day functioning of the team.Responsibilities Serve as a resource to clients, partners, and interested members of the business, following accounting standards. Responsible for delivery of all clients reporting accurately and within specified timeframes. Identification and investigating processing errors through a detailed audit of Management Reports using a number of web based exception tools Respond promptly and appropriately to general queries received from Operational groups, clients, auditors. Liaison with appropriate Operations Group to ensure timely correction of any errors in order to meet client deadlines. Follow up as required. Provide assistance to Account Managers with queries received from clients regarding specific reporting issues Conducting refresher training sessions and the training sessions for the new joiners Communicate issues and recommend solutions directly to client/partner area. Work independently and efficiently to resolve client issues and use sound business judgment in communicating client issues to one s team leader and manager Provide support to TL in the day-to-day functioning of the team Understand accounting standards and resolve I-tool & webtools exceptions on day to day basis. Understand and Follow structured audit procedures including updating of control panel application on timely basis. Working closely with analysts and providing audit assistance and ensure qualitytimely delivery of both own and analyst s clients.Skills / Experience Strong Global (Custody) Accounting knowledge. Hand on experience and knowledge of Fund master, IIP, excel, PACE and client queries. Taxable checks, Overall Custody business and product/market understanding would be an added advantage. Working knowledge of financial / capital markets (e.g., Good understanding of financial instruments, operation of capital markets, client servicing, valuations etc.). Sustainable and exceptional performance demonstrated through examples/evidence for the above listed core skills and competencies in the current role over a period of 18-24 months.
