Job Description

  • Intermediate level understanding of distributed computing principles and technologies.
  • 2 years or more experience with at least one programming language (Java, Scala, Python).
  • Must have hands-on experience of 2 years or more on Hadoop tools/technologies like Spark, Map Reduce, Hive, HDFS.
  • 2 years or more experience in building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming or Kafka or any other streaming solution.
  • 2 years or more experience on implementing complex projects dealing with the considerable data size (TB/ PB) in the production environment.
  • Must have experience of designing, developing and deploying big data project/s into production.
  • Experience on working with unstructured data and file formats like JSON, XML & Logs.
  • Streaming Analytics and Real Time processing experience such as Storm or Spark-Streaming or Kafka or any other streaming solution.Any professional certification on big data technologies will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • Work with cross-functional team members from Architecture, Product Management, Q/A and Production Operations to develop, test, and release features
