Perform extensive data mining including data profiling and data quality analysis Develop complex queries against normalized and dimensional models for data exploration Work with a complex data environment with large, disparate systems Identify current state business process or system inadequacies through analysis Redesign and re-engineer existing datasets and processes so they are robust and repeatable Creates process improvements in analytical dataset creation based on analytical analysis Improve and streamline processes to improve data accuracy, viability, and value Assist in the development and automation of new business analytics solutions Collaborate on ETL processes and opportunities for automation Communicate complex technical concepts in a manner that a business experts can understand Utilize expert problem-solving skills to rapidly create ad-hoc queries to answer complex business questions or identify data issues using analytical datasets Create and maintain excellent technical documentationExperience & QualificationsTechnical Skills Required: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistical Analysis, or equivalent required Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and structures, data integration techniques, ETL processes and SQL best practices Knowledge in data quality or profiling tools (e.g., Talend, SSIS, Paxata, Ataccama, Alation) Experience with statistical software or other data mining tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, ODM, Vertica) 5+ years of experience with data analysis or data profiling Must have 24 months as an Analyst.Personal Skills Required: Strong analytical and problem solving skills Knowledge and understanding of data reporting workflows Highly developed mathematical skills required Strong financial acumen and ability to work across multiple business units Ability to foster a positive and collaborative environment Able to effectively adapt to highly dynamic and fast paced work environment Sense of ownership and urgency, with ability to work both independently and as part of team Highly organized and able to function with multiple targets in a deadline driven environment Developed oral and written communication skillsAdditional Beneficial Competencies: Masters in Statistical analysis, or Business Administration Experience and knowledge in supporting or participating within an internal/external audit function Expertise with decision support or ETL tools a plus (e.g., Abintio, Informatica, DataStage, SSRS) Familiarity with other analytics tools a plus (e.g., Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite, R, Python, Spark, H2O) Experience using BI tools for insight creation and analytic support a plus (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, COGNOS, Microstrategy, Spotfire) 3+ years of experience in designing and coding ETL or architecting and implementing data models 2+ years of relevant experience developing business intelligence, decision support solutions, or creating reporting visualizations,
