1. PURPOSE OF ROLE This role will work in the L&D function to design and develop learning programs based on performance, skills, knowledge, information and behaviour gaps of a targeted audience. 2. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Establish processes and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the content design and development service offering, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and parity with industrial best practices. Complete assigned tasks ensuring process/schedule adherence and provide timely and accurate updates to People Services partners and Senior Leaders. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders and/or providers of learning solutions, establishing credibility as a partner to the business. Utilize internal forums to share best practices, deliver efficiencies, and ensure sustainability of service through upskilling and cross-skilling. 3. BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT Responsible for monitoring and evaluating learning and development activities, producing accurate and up-to-date data analysis. Assisting with periodic reporting as requested by all zones such as: Creating and maintaining training activity and learning effectiveness records, focusing on L1-L4 evaluation analysis feeding back to training needs analysis and design Creating and maintaining reports of learning platform usage and effectiveness, providing insight into suitability of the different learning platforms to different audiences and training types. 4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS Level of educational attainment: Bachelors or Masters degree Professional qualifications and accreditations/memberships: Qualification in Instructional Design preferable Previous work experience: Professional experience of minimum 3 years in a service environment in the Learning domain Proficiency in working with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone, SABA, etc.) Knowledge of adult learning theories and different instructional design models Expertise in course design and development, with the ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts Language skills: Must have very strong English written and verbal communication skills IT/Other skills: MS Office: Must have strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Proficiency in at least one of the following e-learning authoring tools: Articulate 360 Lectora Captivate Visual Design skills; ability to storyboard 5.
