Job Description

    *JD for Senior BI Technical for HR Business Intelligence Executing the Business Intelligence & Metrics Strategy, Landscape & Roadmap for the HR Domain Facilitating the design of HR Metrics, KPIs, Scorecards & Dashboards by consulting with HR leadership & business process owners on the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions to support business objectives Working in the Prestudy & Anticipation phases of the project life cycle, including the development & approval of the Project Business Case & Project Contract (Scope, Timeline, Budget, Resources etc etc). Execution of projects that deliver new or modified Business Intelligence solutions to support business requirements working with a variety of project & application management teams globally and working with IT vendors that support HR business functions Review, analyze and identify gaps in business requirements and functional requirements documents Secure successful delivery of data warehouse solutions and related components. Delivering ETL performance tuning and optimization of database design Design data ingestion components and ETL to collect data from various sources. Improving the performance of the database and refreshment of data. Ensuring that delivered Business Intelligence solutions are maintained & supported in line with the evolving expectations of Schneiders HR Organisation Identify, design, develop, and implement fixes and enhancements to existing production integrations Provide technical support for issues including hands-on troubleshooting and implement enhancements and customizations Assume responsibility for data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources. Ensure local adherence to global definitions Experience & Qualifications:
    • The candidate will have a BS (preferably in Computer Science, or Engineering field).
    • 8+ years business experience
    • 6+ years experience with implementing Business Intelligence Applications
    • In-depth understanding of Project Management, Process Design, Analytics and Requirements Specification tools & techniques including.
    • In-dept understanding of Oracle BI apps , specially HR modules related.
    • In-dept understanding of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI ), or similar ETL Solutions, and general understanding of the Business Intelligence industry would be a distinct advantage
    • Good exposure to OBIEE and how OBIEE is used together with ODI.
    • Expertise in Advanced PL/SQL.
    • Strong troubleshooting/debugging/analytic skills in Data modeling
    • Should have completed at least two full life-cycle implementation of an enterprise BI Solution, preferably within the HR domain
    • Highly adept at problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
    • Strong teaming and business partner relationship building skills.
    • Ability to anticipate business impact resulting from technical issues
    , * Responsibility
    • Design and develop data ingestion (ETL) and reporting component using ODI, OBI & OAC
    • Optimize performance of ETL jobs and Dashboards on OBIEE & OAC
    • Implement ETL & Reporting enhancement
    • Troubleshoot ETL (on ODI) production failure
    • Fix ETL & Reporting bugs
    • Handle issues reported by User
    • Monitor Production Job
    • Elicit & understand Users requirement
    Qualification & Experience
    • The candidate should be either BE, B.Tech or MCA.
    • 6+ years of BI experience
    • 4+ years of experience on ODI, OBI, OAC & SQL (minimum 2 year experience on each of the tool mentioned)
    • Good understanding of Oracle BI apps, preferably on HR modules
    • Should have experience of coordinating & collaborating with Users
