Roles and responsibilities
Assisting with various state and local indirect tax compliance projects
Performing a detailed technical review of state and local indirect tax returns on engagements.
Assisting with engagement workflow management and supervising tax consultants on assigned engagements.
Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline work flow.
Assisting with resolution of indirect tax notices from state and local jurisdictions
Assisting with preparation of client billings and account reconciliations.
Assisting with drafting new proposals for new and existing clients.
Experience Qualifications: Minimum Master Degree from reputable universities with excellentacademic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i. e. Excel). Understanding of indirect taxes, 2 - 4 years of experiencein Indirect Taxation Behavioral / team skills Willing to work hard, enthusiastic and self- motivated. Strong analytical andadvisory skills. Good communication andinterpersonal skills. Able to work in fastmoving and demanding environment. Strong commitment, multi- tasking and team player. Excellent oral andwritten communication skills in English (including strong presentation skills). Highly proficient in MSOffice (especially in excel, word and power point). Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral andwritten communication skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combinedwith a cooperative attitude.
