Ciscos Security Business currently at 2 Billion USD revenue annually from its products and services is growing at fast pace. Security Business Group (SBG) of Cisco Systems (India) is looking to hire experienced Technical Leader for Virtual firewalls for our private and public cloud customers.Primary Responsibilities:Primary role will be to contribute to the automation, functional and manual testing of Cisco s Virtual Firewall offerings.What Youll DoContribute to creation, development and enhancement of test case automation on various cloud platforms.Contribute to the functional and non-functional testing of Cisco s Virtual FirewallsWho Youll Work With The Virtual Firewall team is a group of high energy, customer focused cloud development engineers who bring in diverse perspectives and experiences to bear on the toughest engineering challenges. You will have to collaborate with different product development teams. Cisco is changing the way we work, live, play, and learn. Who You are:A qualified candidate will possess:MS/BS in computer science or engineering6+ year of softtware development experience.experience in scripting languages such as Python and Shell Program is a must.Knowledge of Cisco Automation Framework would be added bonus.Should have good troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skillsKnowledge of automated testing tools, like Selenium, is highly desired.Object oriented programming knowledge is strongly desired.Good familiarity with Cloud platform(Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI) and Networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS) is required.Good Understanding of Virtualization and Cloud computing software such as Openstack, Docker swarm, KubernetesKnowledge of Wireshark/Network captures is a plus.Experience in maintaining lab hardware systems, VM setup, and work experience with ESX servers/VMWare and KVM is desired.Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of AWS Lamba / Azure functions is desirable.Good communication skills for cooperation with other departments and strategic partnersSpecific Responsibilities/FunctionsWork with Agile process for sprint based development/QATo write detailed test cases, running of tests and evaluation of results for new features and functionalities
