Job Description

Purpose:

  • Standard Chartered is looking for Senior Automation Lead
  • 9+ years of experience for its agile and COE teams.
  • An ideal candidate should have hands on Automation Testing experience. Well versed with Mobile application automation and web Automation and to have worked on agile delivery, understanding the CI/CD model. Experience in programming language / SQL are a plus.
  • As a part of Testing team and a member of a highly skilled forward-thinking team working on product development in an agile and collaborative environment, you will work with modern technologies and learn how these technologies are applied.
  • Have strong experience and skill set on building the required Automation frameworks.
Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for the quality of all the features delivered and will be a full-time member of the Engineering team.
  • Should follow good engineering principles.
  • Be an integral part of an Agile engineering team and work interactively with fellow engineers and product owners.
  • Mentor & provide guidance to members in development and testing methodologies.
Required Competencies:
  • Hands on experience in Java, Selenium and skill.
  • Develop/Contribute to design Test Automation Framework
  • Develop Test scripts
  • Debug/Analyze Script issues
  • Analyze Test cases / Scenarios for Reusability
  • Understanding of automation test methodologies, automation test frameworks, tools, and techniques
  • Good experience on using CA Dev Test tool for API Automation and Service
  • Good Knowledge on CA Tools eg - TDM and Javelin are preferable
  • Work on complex projects that cover a wide range of technologies and interdependencies between platforms requiring analytical skills
  • Develop modular and robust automated test scripts of GUI, APIs, E2E utilizing domain specific language, exception handling, and other advanced automation techniques.
  • Knowledge in DevOps & Agile Methodology
  • Must be prepared to give 100% efforts. Extension on work timings, weekend supports etc on need basis.
  • Well-versed with Agile methodology and global delivery model.
  • Excellent communication skills.
