Job Description

  • Research, design, implement and maintain all decentralized finance systems incubated/supported by aXess Labs @ Standard Chartered bank.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, strategists, DevOps engineers, security engineers, and quants to ensure the systems are of high-quality by the product standards as well as engineering standards and delivered to the market in a timely manner.
  • Focus on market opportunities for crypto and blockchain related opportunities across Financial Services and crypto-native custodians and exchanges
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively at multiple levels and across disciplines; prioritizing tasks and communicating effectively with all levels of both internal and external teams
  • Own the production configuration and deployment process, and continue to evolve towards higher levels of excellence surrounding change management
  • Around seven years of Cybersecurity/AML Compliance; two to three years of crypto/blockchain hands on engineering experience; relevant experience in a financial services firm or crypto wallet Fintechs. Experience working with major Blockchain companies is a plus.
  • Strong hands on understanding of Blockchain & cryptography technology.
  • 1-5 years of Golang, Move, Solidity or Vyper development experience.
  • Experience with smart contract static analysis tooling (e.g. Manticore) or formal verification (e.g. KEVM) would be a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in server-side programming languages (e.g. Typescript, Golang, Python, Ruby).
  • 5 years of experience in development lifecycle automation, continuous development, continuous integration. Particularly has led solutions and managed then in production for about 2-3 years.
  • Quantitative finance knowledge and Experience with Crypto wallet services and products
  • Proficiency in handling scalability, security, and performance.
  • Interested in building first-class products to solve real-world problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced with various technologies, self-motivated, a fast learner, and have a get things done mentality.
  • Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and having the ability to juggle conflicting requirements from many different stakeholders.
  • Experience with mobile development is a plus
  • Knowledge of low-level networking or OS internals (Linux, iOS, and Android) would be useful.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks and technologies (e.g. React.js, Nodejs, Vue.js, Mobx, Redux) would be a plus.
