Job Description

  • You will be responsible for definition, implementation and optimization of Demand to Quote and Order to Fulfill capabilities for running SaaS business in VMware. You will work with Senior management and Business teams to identify significant process automation & optimization opportunities and collaborate with IT to define the roadmap for extending business capabilities.
Essential Functions (Tasks and Responsibilities):
  • Partner with business leaders to drive business transformation, process change and innovation in our SaaS strategic objectives that will positively impact growth, customer satisfaction, productivity and operational excellence
  • Drive the overall VMware maturity in capabilities in the Demand to Quote area, with specific focus on SaaS front-office capabilities
  • Engage & collaborate with senior level business leaders across one or more business functions in Sales, Channels, Pricing, Quoting, Order Management, SaaS, Fulfillment, Renewals etc.
  • Drive major process re-engineering efforts by leading business owners to define future state processes by conducting process design/ requirements workshops. Map existing processes; lead definition of to-be processes using swim-lane diagrams, identify use-cases and build sequence diagrams
  • Define/document business requirements, business rules and metrics to achieve to-be state
  • Collaborate with Business and IT to define roadmap to reach to-be state. Review, recommend and implement industry standard tools as appropriate to deliver scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with Business to define project benefit and success metrics.
  • Review and approve technical approach and design documentation
  • Ability to influence and drive senior leadership to making decisions

Qualifications & Experience:
  • B.Tech or equivalent Bachelor s degree and preferably with MBA degree
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, delivering enterprise wide projects with deep understanding SaaS functional capabilities
  • Proficiency in key Sales processes like Sales Planning, Forecasting/ Pipeline, Account/ Opportunity Management, CPQ
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS and operating subscription business
  • Understanding of key performance indicators that helps in measuring success of transformative initiatives
  • Strong expertise in Process Re-engineering, Process Optimization, Process Standardization and Automation, and exposure to Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Able to operate in an Agile development methodology
