Proficiency in various data querying and validation approaches, ad-hoc data analysis and deep dives using various analytics tools is also expected.Within 180 days of employment, you will be expected to support your business partners long and short-term data needs by strategically positioning data products with the stakeholders. This will require you to build strong relationships, accurate business assessments and to translate their business needs into long term data driven solutions.The Work: What type of work will you be doing What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis Your regular activities can be modified to suit your professional strengths, but you can expect a variety of the following assignments:Deliver reporting utilizing our BI tools (including but not limited to SAP BOBJ and Tableau) to successfully transition and transform current state reporting to improved analytic capabilities, effectively drive and improve the self-service model in the businessExtract data and perform reporting/ad-hoc analyses/deep dives to support the Sales teamsSupport end-to-end Business Intelligence lifecycle development processes as needed; which includes, but is not limited to capture business requirement definitions (BRD), create functional requirement definitions (FRD), technical design documents (TDD), and run user acceptance testing (UAT)Perform current state to future state detailed impact analysis activities to provide input to BI data migration strategy and recommended end state solutionPartner closely with IT teams on functional requirements and design to drive successful end state solutions and user experiencesPerform QA activities to validate requirements are being met through front end solutions, data model verification, and source to target mappingCollaborate on the KPIs and metrics to monitor and run the business and build reports using themPrototype reports and dashboards to get users engaged and excited about BI & Analytics solutionsDrive direct business engagement with stakeholders and project team membersPerform Data Analysis & querying to prototype and validate BI Solutions (e.g. SQL)Project/Program Management to keep stakeholders and team engaged throughout the delivery processDevelop storyboards for executive presentationsUnderstanding of the primary business functions in a sales and channel/partner sales organization, and the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions for these areas.Exercising your leadership skills working with distributed teams, at all levels of the organization without direct management oversight while experiencing working in virtual environmentsPut into practice excellent upstream and downstream communication skills, ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and through documentationResilient and flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and adaptable to fast-changing environment/objectives,
