*Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. Propose client configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Work with others to define, coordinate vendor purchase needs. Responsible for support documentation as well.Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. Based on OPERA Property on premise, the leading enterprise solution suite for the hospitality industry, OPERA Cloud offers an intuitive user interface, comprehensive functionality for all areas of hotel management, secure data storage, and hundreds of key partner interfaces to meet the needs of hotels of all types and sizes.The HGBU Build Engineering team play an important role in the Building Customer Environments, improvement of Cloud deployments, automation and upgrades for HGBU applications (OPERA). Tasks include but are not limited to understand and contribute to application architecture, upgrading SSD environment, support to AMS/ESS teams, document manual installation and configuration guides, facilitate communication and validation of automated deployment scripts, provide feedback to development and engineering teams for continuous improvement in Cloud deployments and administration, and active participation during development and validation environment deployments.RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and install application platforms and environments as per defined standards. Document and share application engineering standards specifically Hotel applications to ensure standardization and optimization of procedures and processes Prepare maintenance run books and validate in test environment as readiness for production implementation Roll up the sleeves in troubleshooting and help junior engineers with incident management Configure build/automation installation scripts for key Hotel applications and deliver as per project plans (Oracle Enterprise Manager, Chef, etc.) Lead the implementation of new customer environments in both Windows & Linux Create and contribute to an environment that is geared to innovation, high productivity, high quality and customer serviceRequired Skills:- Experience of a best-in-class cloud or hosting organization (preferably Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or eCommerce) - Minimum 6 years of experience in administering Weblogic 11g, 12c and Oracle Middleware stack which includes OIM, OAM, OIF, OAAM, OID, OHS. - Ability to implement and maintain OIM connectors for LDAP Sync. Integrate OIM with OID, OUD, OVD, and MS Active Directory. - Must have hands-on experience developing and deploying large-scale enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions. - Hands-on experience on developing and deploying microservices using Docker/Jenkins on Kubernetes. - Ability to create, manage and administer Production/UAT/development environments for an enterprise application. - Hands-on experience of Database RAC, Data Guard, backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL - Analyze existing components and recommend modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability and scalability. - Provide senior-level technical support on solving complex issues requiring rapid resolution related to Oracle IDM applications and environments. - Niche skills like IDCS, OAAM/ Mobile & Cloud/ Entitlement, Kubernetes/Dockers is a definite plus. - Experience with scripting language such as PERL, UNIX Shell scripting and batch files. - Knowledge of networking and security i.e. DNS records, Load Balancers, subnets, TLS, SSL, SAML etc. - Assisting development teams in manual application code deployments. - Experience with scripting language such as PERL, UNIX Shell scripting and batch files. - Experience on writing SQL queries and ability to query databases for needed information. - Have a broad, strong technical knowledge which encompasses Application operations including deployment, Release automation, Platform architecture, Database, Network, Linux/Windows, Load-balancing / Clustering and SecurityOther Skills:- Be a team player going above and beyond in taking additional responsibilities and delivering them - Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through other internal and external organizations and individuals (a track record of delivering results within a matrix business environment) - Possess proven track record of operational success in a high traffic environment - Possess strong results orientation and an ability to take ownership of issues and drive them to completion - Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude - Sets high standards with respect to the treatment of customers and peers - BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. MS would be a plus.
