Title: Senior Configuration Management Specialist you will work closely with product development, IT, business operations, and client service delivery.In this position you would:Administration experience (SVN, GIT), Installation and configuration of Version control tools (GIT, SVN), build and release.Make sure build processes are following known best practices.Research, design, plan, and drive implementations of new build.Identify and find ways to eliminate recurring work and shorten wait time through automation.Implement dashboard providing real- time view of key performance monitoring metrics.Continuously evaluating tools and processes around efficiencies and risks.Provide on- call support outside of normal scheduled hours as needed.Your education:Graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalentYour profile: 5+ years of experience within a Build and Release type role.In- depth understanding of the principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management (SCM) in Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall methodologiesStrong experience in working on GIT version control systems. Experience on migration from Subversion to GIT would be a plusExperience using MAVEN and ANT as build tools for the building of deployable artifacts (jar, war & ear).Ability in execution of XML, ANT Scripts, Ruby, Shell Scripts, Perl Scripts, Power Shell scripts and JAVA Scripts.Experience on Jenkins for the purpose of continuous integration (CI) and for End to End automation for all builds and deployments.Good expertise of Oracle database (sql and pl/ sql)Knowledge on configuration management using ChefExperience in working with Tracking Tools like JIRAEfficient in working closely with Development and QA teams to ensure high quality and timely delivery of builds and releases.Worked as an independent contributor, self- motivated and energetic professional, strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, strong organizational skills and ability to do multitask, attention to detail and zero- defect mentality, ability to quickly acquire an in- depth knowledge of the companys product and systems.Excellent spoken and written English communication, interpersonal, intuitive and leadership skills with ability to work efficiently in both independent and team work environments.,
