Job Description

Job Title:Senior Consultant - Java J2EE

    • JOBTITLE
    • Triage Engineer
    • POSITION OVERVIEW
    • The primary focus is to analyze incoming Incidents from Customer Product Support and tickets from Operations. TE will work closely with cloud support for product defects, coordinate incident handling improvements with support, and improve knowledge sharing and documentation. TM is the initial primary liaison from engineering to cloud support aligned by pillar.
    • The Engineering Triage EngineerTE plays a key role in improving overall business performance and achieving longterm customer satisfaction and retention. The triage engineer triage customer issues, deliver guidance to the global cloud support and customer success teams and drive crossdepartmental partnerships for enhancing the customer experience.
    • The role encompasses proactive communications and updates within SLA, and standardization of best practices. The TE drives consistent, scalable and repeatable processes by aiding Customer Success through awareness of supplemental documentation and training, promoting selfservice and communication on known issues. The TE leads prioritization of engineering issues and works closely with customer support.
    • End to end responsibility troubleshoot and fix customer issues in JAVA, J2EE Stack.
    • Collaborate well demonstrate excellent development practices, share and motivate others.
    • EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

    • Drive prioritization of software product defects based on impact to the customers.
    • Ensure that JIRAService Now Incidents are valid and well documented prior to handover to development scrum team.
    • Analyze incoming Service Now Incidents for SLA, quality, and validity invalidsrejected.
    • Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting techniques analyzing stack traces, Heap Dumps, Out of Memory issues.
    • Proficient in XML and SQL . Proficient in JavaJ2EE is an added advantage.

    • Champion the customer experience by advocating for the entire incident life cycle.
    • Provide justintime knowledge by educating technical reporters consistently, sufficiently and efficiently.
    • Be a catalyst for change across the organization to improve customer satisfaction kaizen
    • Monitor queue reports and manage volume of incoming incidents and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Primary interface between development team and customer facing teams.
    • Focus on strong relationship management and effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams for better outcomes.
