This position is responsible for hands on development work on all aspects of SAP HANA architecture, data provisioning, modeling (design, development and deployment of HANA views), performance tuning and optimization. The candidate will work closely with both Enterprise and Solution Architecture teams to translate the Business/Functional requirements into technical specifications that drive HANA solutions to the meet functional requirements.Responsibilities: Responsible for Design, Development of SAP HANA Information Models within the Enterprise HANA platforms Interact with Enterprise/Solution Architects (EA), Business Analysts (BA) to gather high level business requirementsLiaise with Functional and Operations teams to translate Functional Specifications into HANA technical specifications, ensure the HANA solutions confine to enterprise standards and best practicesParticipates in the planning and coordination of releases to production to ensure project timelines and release schedules are followed and deadlines are ultimately metPromotion of HANA content throughout the HANA landscape using SAP HANA Application Lifecycle Manager (HALM)Work with SAP BASIS and Security team to design and implement analytic privileges to secure and limit access for HANA viewsAssist with HANA performance tuning and query optimization effortsExpert in SQL , advanced SQL with sound knowledge of analytical functionsOwns and resolves escalated issues to minimize associated impacts to project timelinesQualifications & Skills: Bachelor s degree or equivalent required with preference for Computer Science or Engineering. MS degree would be highly desirable7+ years of experience in SAP TechnologiesExperience in the full-life cycle of large and complex enterprise services implementing SAP HANA solutions Experience in writing Stored Procedures in HANA using SQL and SQL Script, SQL debug tools.Creating Hierarchies, currency conversions and decision tables in HANAExperience implementing solutions in Agile methodologyWorking knowledge of SAP BW modeling with respect to SAP HANAExperience managing tasks for the delivery of multiple concurrent projectsUnderstand and ability to work with Basis and infrastructure teams on HANA scale out architecture, sizing estimates, security and administration aspectsAbility to communicate to internal and external stakeholdersExtensive experience adopting HANA best practices in Solution design, ability to identify the performance bottlenecks and resolve themExperience in SDA/SDI connecting HANA to external data bases like HadoopExperience in Business objects reporting, metadata (Universe) creationWorking experience S/4 HANA including analytics in native HANA platform, creating virtual data modelsDesired Qualifications:1. Knowledge of SAP reporting platform - SAP BOBJ, SAP Analytics Cloud , SAP Design Studio2. Knowledge of Data Integration Platforms- Informatica PowerCenter, SAP BODS , SDI, SLT3. Experience with Cloud technologies.,
