Job Description

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle database administration (9i,10g,11gR2 and 12c), MySQL, MariaDB, AWS Cloud
  • Provide support for all Oracle database environments that include problem identification, reporting, tracking, analysis, and resolution.
  • Architect, design, and implement replication and/or data synchronization using goldengate. Establish and maintain data replication as required for each application (GoldenGate/Dataguard(Physical and Logical).
  • Should be available on-call support on a 24/7 basis when needed.
  • These are hands-on technical positions and the selected candidates will be expected to work under minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated, self-confident team player that can work well on a variety of tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Must possess strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Determines and develops multiple approaches to arrive at a feasible solution.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Document lessons learned, help maintain knowledge database.
Job RequirementsDesired Skills:
  • Good Conceptual knowledge of Oracle RDBMS internals, Backup & Recovery using RMAN, performance tuning, logical and physical design of database.
  • Experience working in an enterprise environment and supporting critical production databases and applications.
  • Experience Installing, configuring, upgrading and administering different versions of Oracle.
  • Good Unix scripting, perl or python skills.
  • Experience with RAC and ASM Administration is required.
  • Experience with Golden Gate is required.
  • Ideal Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as an Oracle RAC in a similar environment.
  • Preferred Skills (good to have):
  • Good experience with MySQL, MariaDB, SQL servers and EXADATA will be a plus.
  • Good experience in working with Cloud Technology like AWS/Azure.

Qualifications:
  • BE/BTECH/MCA/MTECH
